Introduction

More and more people who study Scripture are asking about the feasts and holy days that YHWH instructed His people to observe. Many are recognizing that human traditions rooted in the Babylonian system have obscured the meaning of these appointed times, reducing them to religious forms that distract people from their purpose.

Other religious organizations claim that the feasts given by YHWH in His Word no longer matter and represent only the history or ethnic tradition of one nation. This claim comes from misunderstanding His Word. In its place, pagan festivals with Babylonian roots became established in religious traditions from one generation to the next.

The feasts of the Most High were given to His people. If we belong to that people, they were given to us as well. Believers should know and observe them rather than replace them with pagan substitutes.

Leviticus 23 presents seven feasts in their order:

  • Pesach
  • The Feast of Unleavened Bread — Hag HaMatzot
  • The Feast of Firstfruits — Reishit Katzir
  • The Feast of Weeks — Shavuot
  • The Feast of Trumpets — Yom Teruah
  • The Day of Atonement — Yom Kippur
  • The Feast of Tabernacles — Sukkot

The history connected with these feasts shows that they did not begin with what is often called the “Law of Moses.” They were observed in the time of the patriarchs and coincided with important events in the lives of Noah, Abraham, and Isaac. The Book of Jubilees also describes this history.

Each of the seven feasts is a prophetic day—an appointed time. Part of the prophecy connected with each feast has already taken place, while another part is still ahead. These holy days existed in the past, remain today, and will continue as central events in the millennial kingdom of the Anointed One (Ezek.45:21, 25; Zech.14:16).

The seven feasts contain prophetic information about the birth, death, and resurrection of the Anointed One, as well as his second coming, the Day of Judgment, and his reign in the millennial kingdom. The Most High appointed events to occur at these set times.

The authors seek to help readers understand the prophetic feasts of YHWH without relying on denominational interpretations. The book traces these themes through the Law, the Writings, the Psalms, the Prophets, the accounts of Yeshua, the apostolic letters, and Revelation, showing the relationship between past and future events.

01 PesachThe Day the Lamb Was Slain

A lamb and blood-marked doorposts, with the execution of Yeshua in the distance

The month of Nisan (Aviv) signifies the beginning of the year, according to Elohim’s calendar for the nation of Israel.

Ex. 12:2 This month (Aviv/Nisan) shall be to you the beginning of months, the first month of the year to you.

The day of the slaying of the Lamb on the eve of exile from Mitsrayim.

Lev. 23:5 In the first month (Aviv), on the fourteenth day of the month at dusk (at twilight), is YHWH Passover.

Ex. 12:3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: “On the tenth day of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man's need you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.”

The anointing of the doorposts with the blood of the Lamb

Ex. 12:7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire – its head with its legs and its entrails. You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is YHWH 's Passover.

Striking of the firstborns in Mitsrayim

Ex. 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Mitsrayim on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Mitsrayim, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Mitsrayim I will execute judgment: I am YHWH. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Mitsrayim. So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to YHWH throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.

Yearly observance of Pesah in the Temple

Deut. 16:1 Observe the month of Aviv (spring the time of barley harvest) and keep the Passover to YHWH your Elohim, for in the month of Aviv YHWH your Elohim brought you out of Mitsrayim by night. And you shall sacrifice the Passover-offering unto YHWH your Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which YHWH shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it, that is, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Mitsrayim in haste), that you may remember the day in which you came out of the land of Mitsrayim all the days of your life. And no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days, nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day at twilight remain overnight until morning. You may not offer the Passover sacrifice within any of your towns which YHWH your Elohim gives you. But at the place which YHWH your Elohim will choose in which to make His Name (and His Presence) dwell, there you shall offer the Passover sacrifice in the evening at sunset, at the season that you came out of Mitsrayim. And you shall roast and eat it in the place which YHWH your Elohim will choose. And in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents.

Prophetic significance of the first coming of the Anointed One: The Lamb of YHWH, that was led to the slaughter as the atonement and reconciliation for the sins of the world

Is.53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and YHWH has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

Is.53:10 Yet it was the will of YHWH to bruise Him; to see if his soul would offer itself in restitution (as a guilt offering), that he might see his seed, prolong his days, and that the purpose of YHWH might prosper by his hand.

* "The (first) day of unleavened bread" - it's very important to understand the difference between the day of unleavened bread (Preparation day), which is on the 14th, and the day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is on the 15th. It is clear that this passage is not talking about the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because that Feast falls on the day after the lamb was slain.

Zech.12:10 And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

Ps.22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death. For dogs have surrounded Me; the congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.

Num.21:8 Then YHWH said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live." So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

Jn.3:14 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

1Cor.5:7 For our Pesach lamb, the Anointed One, has been sacrificed.

Also, the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the High Shabbat (Ex. 12:16), which rules out the possibility of preparing food (as no work is done on the Shabbat in accordance with Ex. 20:8-11). All preparations for Pesach must be done before it begins, on the day of the 14th, which is the day of unleavened bread (or Preparation day). This day technically begins on the evening of the 13th, and lasts until the time when the lamb must be slain. On this day, families would clean their houses to dispose of all the yeast (Ex. 12:15), and then slay the lamb for the Seder (Pesach dinner) afterwards.

1Pet.1:19 You should be aware that the ransom paid to free you from the worthless way of life which your fathers passed on to you did not consist of anything perishable like silver or gold; on the contrary, it was the costly bloody sacrificial death of the Anointed One, as of a lamb without defect or spot.

Rom.3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of YHWH, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in the Anointed One Yeshua, whom YHWH set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance YHWH had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Yeshua.

Heb.2:17 This is why he had to become like his brothers in every respect – so that he might become a merciful and faithful cohen gadol (High Priest) in the service of YHWH, making a kapparah for the sins of the people (to make atonement and propitiation for the people's sins).

On this time: day and hour (before midnight of the 14th day of Aviv) Yeshua the Anointed One was crucified on a tree

Matthew

(26:17) On the first day of the unleavened bread * (Preparation day), the disciples came to Yeshua and asked: “Where do you want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”And He said: “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him: The teacher says: "My time is at hand I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.” The disciples did as Yeshua directed: to prepare for Passover (preparation for the evening of the 14th).When evening came ** (night of the 13th), Yeshua reclined with the twelve disciples.

(26:27) He took a cup of wine and gave thanks (blessed), and gave it to them, saying: “All of you, drink from it. For this is My blood, which ratifies the new covenant, My blood shed on behalf of many, so that they may have their sins forgiven.”

(26:30) After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Yeshua then said to them: “Tonight you will all lose faith in Me, as the Tanakh/Scripture says: `I will strike the shepherd dead, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you into the Galil.”

(26:34) Yeshua said to him (Kefa/Peter): “Yes! I tell you that tonight before the rooster crows, you will disown Me three times!”

(26:36) Then Yeshua went with His disciples to a place called Gat-Sh'manim/Gethsemane and said to them: “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”

(26:47) While Yeshua was still speaking, Y'hudah/Judas (one of the Twelve) came, and with him a large crowd carrying swords and clubs, from the head/chief priests and elders of the people.

** “When evening came”, “they were at supper”, “when the time came” - refers to the Last Supper - the dinner that Yeshua and His disciples observed on the evening of the 13th (when the 14th was beginning). Not to be confused with the "Seder" (the Dinner on Pesach) done on the evening of Pesach day (14th) when the 15th is beginning.

(26:50) Yeshua said to him: “Friend, do what you came to do.” Then they moved forward, laid hold of Yeshua and arrested Him.

(26:57) And those who had laid hold of Yeshua led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. Kefa/Peter followed Him at a distance as far as the courtyard of the high priest. Then he went inside and sat down with the guards to see what the outcome would be.

(26:74) This time he began to invoke a curse on himself as he swore: “I do not know the man!” - and immediately a rooster crowed. Kefa/Peter remembered what Yeshua had said: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown Me three times.” And he went outside and cried bitterly.

Mark

(14:12) Now on the first day of unleavened bread * (Preparation day), when they slaughtered the lamb for Pesach/Passover, Yeshua's disciples asked Him: “Where do you wish us to go prepare the Passover for You to eat?” He sent two of His disciples with these instructions: “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him and whichever house he enters, tell him that the rabbi/teacher says: ‘Where is the guest room for Me, where I am to eat the Pesach/Passover with My disciples?’ He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make the preparations there.”

(14:17) When evening came ** (night of the 13th), Yeshua arrived with the Twelve. As they were reclining and eating, Yeshua said: “Yes! I tell you that one of you is going to betray Me.”

*** “I will not drink”, “I will no longer eat” - indeed, the Seder (Pesach dinner) on the evening of the 14th (when the 15th begins) went by without Yeshua as He had, by then, already become “The Lamb” and had thus fulfilled the prophecy regarding this date just in time.

(14:22) While they were eating, Yeshua took a loaf of bread, made the b'rakhah/blessing, broke it, gave it to them and said: “Take it. This is My body.” Also He took a cup of wine and gave thanks, and gave it to them and they all drank. He said to them: “This is My blood, which ratifies the new covenant, My blood shed on behalf of many people.”

(14:25) “Yes! I tell you, I will not drink *** this `fruit of the vine' again until the day I drink new wine in the Kingdom of YHWH.”After singing a hymn they went out to the Mount of Olives. Yeshua said to them: “You will all lose faith in Me, for the Tanakh/Scripture says: `I will strike the shepherd dead, and the sheep will be scattered.' But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you into the Galil/Galilee.”

(14:30) Yeshua replied: “Yes! I tell you that this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will disown Me three times!”

(14:32) They went to a place called Gat Sh'manim/Gethsemane and Yeshua said to His disciples: “Sit here while I pray.”

(14:42) “Get up! Let's go! Here comes My betrayer!” While Yeshua was still speaking, Y'hudah/Judas came, and with him a crowd carrying swords and clubs came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

(14:45) As he (Y'hudah/Judas) arrived, he went right up to Yeshua, said: “Rabbi!” and kissed Him. Then they laid hold of Yeshua and arrested Him.

(14:53) They led Yeshua to the cohen hagadol/high priest and with him were assembled all the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes.

(14:54) Kefa/Peter followed Him at a distance right into the courtyard of the high priest, where he sat down with the guards and warmed himself by the fire.

(14:72) And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. Then Kefa/Peter remembered what Yeshua had said to him: “Before the rooster crows twice, you will disown Me three times.” And throwing himself down, he burst into tears.

Luke

(22:7) Then came the day of unleavened bread * (Preparation day), on which the Passover lamb had to be killed. Yeshua sent Kefa/Peter and Yochanan/John, instructing them: “Go and prepare for us the Passover, that we may eat it” (to prepare the place for Passover).

(22:10) He told them: “As you're going into the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you.

Follow him into the house he enters, and say to its owner: `The Rabbi says to you: "Where is the guest room, where I am to eat the Passover with My disciples?" And he will show you a large room upstairs, furnished with carpets and with couches properly spread. There make preparations” (for the 14th night).

(22:13) They went and found things just as Yeshua had told them they would be to prepare ready the Passover (preparation for the evening 14th).

(22:14) When the time came ** (“Last Supper” - dinner the day before Pesach) Yeshua and the emissaries reclined at the table, and He said to them: “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Pesach/Passover with you before I supper! For I tell you, it is certain that I will no longer eat *** of it until it is fulfilled (it is given its full meaning) in the Kingdom of YHWH.”

(22:17) Then, taking a cup of wine, He made the b'rakhah/blessing and said: “Take this and share it among yourselves. For I tell you that from now on, I will not drink *** the `fruit of the vine' until the Kingdom of YHWH comes.”

(22:19) Also, taking bread, He gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them and said: “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in memory of Me.”

(22:20) He did the same with the cup after the meal, saying: “This cup is the new covenant, ratified by My blood, which is being poured out for you.”

(22:34) Yeshua replied: “I tell you, Kefa/Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”

(22:39) On leaving, Yeshua went as usual to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples followed Him. When He arrived, He said to them: “Pray that you won't be put to the test.”

(22:44) And in great anguish He prayed more intensely, so that His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.

(22:47) While He was still speaking, a crowd of people arrived, with the man called Y'hudah/Judas (one of the Twelve) leading them. He came up to Yeshua to kiss Him, but Yeshua said to him: “Y'hudah/Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

(22:54) Having seized Him, they led Him away and brought Him into the house of the cohen hagadol/High Priest. Kefa/Peter followed at a distance.

(22:60) But Kefa/Peter said: “Man, I don't know what you're talking about!” And instantly, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed. Yeshua turned and looked straight at Kefa/Peter and Kefa/Peter remembered what Yeshua had said: “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and cried bitterly.

John

(13:1) It was just before the Pesach/Passover and Yeshua knew that the time had come for Him to pass from this world to the Father.

(13:2) They were at supper ** (“Last Supper” - dinner the day before Pesach), and the adversary/satan had already put the desire to betray Him into the heart of Y'hudah Ben-Shim`on from K'riot/Judas. Yeshua was aware that the Father had put everything in His power, and that He had come from YHWH and was returning to YHWH.

So He rose from the table, removed His outer garments and wrapped a towel around His waist. Then He poured some water into a basin and began to wash the feet of the disciples and wipe them off with the towel wrapped around Him.

(13:27) Now after the piece of bread, adversary/satan entered him. Then Yeshua said to him: “What you do, do quickly.” But no one at the table understood why He had said this to him. For some thought that, since Judas had the money box, Yeshua was telling him: “Buy what we need for the Festival (for the Feast of Unleavened Bread)”, or that he should give something to the poor.

(13:30) As soon as he had taken the piece of bread, Y'hudah/Judas went out, and it was night.

(14:31) This is happening so that the world may know that I love the Father, and that I do as the Father has commanded Me. “Get up! Let's get going!”

(18:1) After Yeshua had said all this, He went out with His disciples across the stream that flows in winter through the Vadi Kidron, to a spot where there was a grove of trees; and He and His disciples went into it.

(18:3) So Judas, obtaining and taking charge of the band of soldiers and some guards (attendants) of the high priests and pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons.

(18:12) So the detachment of Roman soldiers and their captain, together with the Temple Guard of the Judeans, arrested Yeshua, tied Him up, and took Him to Anan/Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of Kayafa/Caiaphas who was the high priest that year. It was Kayafa who had advised the Judeans that it would be good for one man to die on behalf of the people.

(18:15) Shim`on Kefa/Peter and another disciple were following Yeshua. And that disciple was known to the high priest, and he went with Yeshua into the courtyard of the high priest.

(18:16) Kefa/Peter stood outside by the gate. So the other disciple, the one known to the high priest, went back out and spoke to the woman on duty at the gate, then brought Kefa/Peter inside.

(18:24) So Anan/Annas sent Him, still tied up, to Kayafa/Caiaphas the cohen hagadol/High Priest.

(18:27) So again Kefa/Peter then denied again, and instantly a rooster crowed.

On the tenth day of the month of Aviv – Yeshua was chosen as a lamb for Pesach

Ex.12:3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: “On the tenth day of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

Zech.9:9 Rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Tziyon! Shout out loud, daughter of Yerushalayim! Look! Your king is coming to you. He is righteous, and he is victorious. Yet he is humble - he's riding on a donkey, yes, on a lowly donkey's colt.

Jn.12:1 Six days before Pesach, Yeshua came to Beit-Anyah (Bethany), where El'azar (Lazarus) lived, the man Yeshua had raised from the dead; so they gave a dinner there in his honor. Marta served the meal, and El'azar was among those at the table with him.

Jn.12:12 The next day (after this dinner), the large crowd that had come for the festival heard that Yeshua was on his way into Yerushalayim. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Deliver us!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of YHWH, the King of Isra'el!”

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS HAPPENED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME

The day when YHWH Elohim said to Abraham to sacrifice Isaac

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 17, 18

And it came to pass in the seventh week, in the first year thereof, in the first month in this jubilee, on the twelfth of this month, there were voices in heaven regarding Abraham, that he was faithful in all that He told him, and that he loved YHWH, and that in every affliction he was faithful. And the prince Mastêmâ  came and said before YHWH, “Behold, Abraham loveth Isaac his son, and he delighteth in him above all things else; bid him offer him as a burnt-offering on the altar, and you wilt see if he will do this command, and you wilt know if he is faithful in everything wherein you dost try him” […]

And YHWH said to him, “Abraham, Abraham”; and he said, “Behold, (here) am I.” And he said, “Take your beloved son whom you lovest, (even) Isaac, and go unto the high country, and offer him on one of the mountains which I will point out unto you.” And he rose early in the morning and saddled his ass, and took his two young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood of the burnt offering, and he went to the place on the third day, and he saw the place afar off […]

The time of Esther’s three day fast for the nation of Israel

Esth.3:12 Then were the king's scribes called in the first month, on the thirteenth day thereof, and there was written, according to all that Haman commanded, unto the king's satraps, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the princes of every people; to every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and it was sealed with the king's ring.

And letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey. […]

The posts went forth in haste by the king's commandment, and the decree was given out in Shushan the castle; and the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city of Shushan was perplexed.

Esth.4:1 Now when Mordecai knew all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry; and he came even before the king's gate; for none might enter within the king's gate clothed with sackcloth. And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes […]

Then Esther bade them return answer unto Mordecai: “Go, gather together all the Hebrews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day; I also and my maidens will fast in like manner; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish.' So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.”

The seven day feast of unleavened bread (bread without yeast)

Lev. 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month (Aviv) is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to YHWH.

Ex. 12:15 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.

Ex. 12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening (when the 15th is beginning), you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening. For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land. You shall eat nothing leavened. In all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread.

Ex. 13:6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread and the seventh day shall be a feast to YHWH. Unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days. No leavened bread shall be seen with you, neither shall there be leaven in all your territory (borders). You shall explain to your son on that day. This is done because of what YHWH did for me when I came out of Mitsrayim.

It shall be as a sign to you upon your hand and as a memorial between your eyes that the Law of YHWH may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand YHWH has brought you out of Mitsrayim. You shall therefore keep this ordinance at this time from year to year.

Deut. 16:3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it. For seven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction – for you fled from the land of Mitsrayim in haste – that all the days of your life you may (earnestly) remember the day when you came out of Mitsrayim. No leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory for seven days. Nor shall any of the meat (Pesach) which you sacrificed the first day at evening be left all night until the morning.

Num. 28:17 And on the fifteenth day of this month (Aviv) is the feast. Unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

Great (High) Shabbat, first and seventh day

Lev. 23:7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation (High/Great Shabbat). You shall do no customary work on it. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation (High/Great Shabbat). You shall do no customary work on it.

Ex. 12:16 On the first day there shall be a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat – that only may be prepared by you.

Num. 28:18 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

Num. 28:25 And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

The day of exile from Mitsrayim

Ex. 13:3 Remember this day in which you went out of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage. For by strength of hand YHWH brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten. On this day you are going out, in the month Aviv.

Ex. 12:17 So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I will have brought your armies out of the land of Mitsrayim. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance.

Deut. 16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to YHWH your Elohim, for in the month of Abib YHWH your Elohim brought you out of Mitsrayim by night (Pharaoh called for Moses in the night).

Num. 33:3 They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Mitsrayimites.

Yearly observance of this Feast in the Temple

Deut.16:16 Three times a year shall all your males appear before YHWH your Elohim in the place which He chooses at the Feast of UNLEAVENED BREAD, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles. They shall not appear before YHWH empty-handed. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YHWH your Elohim which He has given you.

Prophetic significance of the Anointed One – about His innocence and His burial

Is. 53:9 And they assigned Him a grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in His death, although He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth.

Is. 53:11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Is. 42:1 Behold MY Servant, Whom I uphold, My elect in Whom My soul delights! I have put

My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice and right and reveal truth to the nations. He will not cry or shout aloud or cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth. He will not fail or become weak or be crushed and discouraged till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands and coastal regions shall wait hopefully for Him and expect His direction and His Law.

1Cor.5:7 Get rid of the old leaven (yeast), so that you can be a new batch of dough, because in reality you are unleavened.

Hebr.4:15 For we do not have a cohen gadol (High Priest) unable to empathize with our weaknesses; since in every respect he was tempted just as we are, the only difference being that he did not sin.

2Cor.5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of YHWH in Him.

1Jn.3:5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

Mtt.27:57 Towards evening, there came a wealthy man from Ramatayim named Yosef, who was himself a disciple of Yeshua. He approached Pilate and asked for Yeshua's body, and Pilate ordered it to be given to him. Yosef took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen sheet,

and laid it in his own tomb, which he had recently had cut out of the rock. After rolling a large stone in front of the entrance to the tomb, he went away.

The day when Yeshua was wrapped in a shroud and put in the tomb. In the evening of the 14th day (before the sunset), which is the beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (before the 15th day) Yeshua had already been put in the tomb

Matthew

(27:1) Early in the morning, all the high priest and elders met to plan how to bring about Yeshua's death. Then they put Him in chains, led Him away and handed Him over to Pilate the governor.

(27:15) Now at the Feast of Unleavened Bread * (High Shabbat) the governor was in the habit of setting free for the people any one prisoner whom they chose.

(27:33) When they arrived at a place called Gulgolta/Golgotha, they gave Him wine mixed with bitter gall to drink.

(27:35) After they had nailed Him to the stake, they divided His clothes among them by throwing dice.

(27:45) Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour (noon until 3 o'clock in the afternoon) there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour (at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon), Yeshua uttered a loud cry: “Eli! Eli! L'mah sh'vaktani?”

(27:50) But Yeshua, again crying out in a loud voice, yielded up His spirit. At that moment the parokhet in the Temple was ripped in two from

* «The Feast of Unleavened Bread» - is the Day of the Exodus from Mitsrayim (15th of Aviv). The Feast of Unleavened Bread lasts seven days (from the 15th to the 21st). Technically it begins at sundown on the 14th, which is the time for the «Seder»(Dinner on Pesach). The first day of the Feast (15th) and the seventh day (21th) are High Shabbats.

top to bottom. And there was an earthquake, with rocks splitting apart. Also the graves were opened, and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.

(27:57) Towards evening, there came a wealthy man from Ramatayim named Yosef, who was himself a disciple of Yeshua.

(27:59) Yosef took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen sheet, and laid it in his own tomb, which he had recently had cut out of the rock. After rolling a large stone in front of the entrance to the tomb, he went away.

(27:62) On the next day, which followed the day of Preparation** (when Yeshua was crucified), the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate.

Mark

(15:1) Immediately, in the morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council; and they bound Yeshua, led Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.

(15:16) The soldiers led Him away inside the palace and called together the whole battalion. They dressed Him in purple and wove thorn branches into a crown, which they put on Him.

(15:20) And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him.

(15:22) They brought Yeshua to a place called Gulgolta/Golgotha.

(15:24) And they crucified Him. And they divided His garments and distributed them among themselves, throwing lots for them to decide who should take what.

** «The Preparation day» - is the day that is also known as «the day of unleavened bread». It falls on the 14th and should not be confused with the Feast of Unleavened Bread! Preparation day (or the day of unleavened bread) begins on the evening of the 13th and continues until the time when the lamb had to be slain. An entire day is taken to prepare for the Seder (the Dinner before Pesach), which begins after sundown on the 14th (when the 15th begins).

(15:25) It was the third hour (about 9 o'clock in the morning) when they nailed Him to the stake.

(15:33) And when the sixth hour (about midday) had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour (3 pm). And at the ninth hour (3 pm) Yeshua uttered a loud cry: “Elohi! Elohi! L'mah sh'vaktani?”.

(15:37) But Yeshua let out a loud cry and gave up His spirit. And the parokhet (the veil) in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

(15:42) It was the Preparation Day ** the day before the Shabbat/High Shabbat *** (14th day of Aviv, when they had slain the lamb and sat down for the 'Seder' - the Dinner on Pesach), as evening approached, Yosef a prominent member of the Sanhedrin who himself was also looking forward to the Kingdom of YHWH, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Yeshua's body.

(15:44) But Pilate wondered whether Yeshua was dead so soon.

(15:46) Yosef purchased a linen sheet; and after taking Yeshua down, he wrapped Him in the linen sheet, laid Him in a tomb which had been cut out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the entrance to the tomb. Miryam of Magdala and Miryam the mother of Yosef saw where He had been laid.

Luke

(22:66) As soon as it was day, the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying:

*** Shabbat - this is a “High Shabbat” referring to the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Ex. 12:14-16. Lev. 23:6-8) and is not to be confused with the weekly Shabbat (Lev.23:3. Ex. 20:8-11)

“If you are the Anointed One tell us.” But He said to them: “If I tell you, you will by no means believe.”

(23:1) With that, the whole Sanhedrin got up and brought Yeshua before Pilate.

(23:7) When he (Pilate) learned that He was under Herod's jurisdiction, he sent Him over to Herod, who at that time happened to be in Yerushalayim/Jerusalem too.

(23:11) Herod and his soldiers treated Yeshua with contempt and made fun of Him. Then, dressing Him in an elegant robe, they sent Him back to Pilate. That day Herod and Pilate became friends with each other. Previously they had been enemies.

(23:33) When they came to the place called Golgotha, they nailed Him to a stake; and they nailed the criminals to stakes, one on the right and one on the left. Yeshua said: “Father, forgive them; they don't understand what they are doing.” They divided up His clothes by throwing dice.

(23:44) It was about the sixth hour (about noon), and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour (3 pm) in the afternoon. The sun did not shine. Also the parokhet (the veil) in the Temple was split down the middle.

(23:46) Crying out with a loud voice: Yeshua said, “Eli! Eli! L'mah sh'vaktani?” With these words He gave up His spirit.

(23:50) Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of YHWH. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Yeshua.

(23:53) He took it (body) down, wrapped it in a linen sheet, and placed it in a tomb cut into the rock, that had never been used. It was the Preparation Day ** (14th of Aviv, the time when the lamb was slain and they sat down at the table for the evening 'Seder' - the Dinner on Pesach), and a Shabbat *** (the High Shabbat = The Feast of Unleavened Bread) was about to begin.

(23:55) The women who had come with Yeshua from the Galil followed; they saw the tomb and how His body was placed in it. Then they went back home to prepare spices and ointments.

John

(18:28) They led Yeshua from Kayafa to the Praetorium. By now it was early morning. They did not enter the headquarters building because they didn’t want to become ritually defiled and thus unable to eat the Pesach meal (the Dinner on Pesach - 'Seder'). Pilate went outside to them and said: “What charge are you bringing against this man?”

(18:33) Pilate went back into the headquarters, called Yeshua and said to Him: “Are you the king of the Jews?”

(19:12) On hearing this, Pilate tried to find a way to set Him free; but the Judeans shouted: “If you set this man free, it means you're not a friend of the Emperor! Everyone who claims to be a King is opposing the Emperor!” When Pilate heard what they were saying, he brought Yeshua outside and sat down on the judge's seat in the place called The Pavement (in Aramaic, Gabta).

(19:14) It was Preparation Day ** for the Passover (14th of Aviv, the time when the lamb was slain and they sat down at the table for the evening ‘Seder' - the Dinner on Pesach) and it was about the sixth hour **** (6 am). He said to the Judeans: “Here's your king!” They shouted: “Take Him away!”

(19:16) Then Pilate handed Yeshua over to them to have Him put to death on the stake. So they took charge of Yeshua. Carrying the stake Himself He went out to the place called Skull (in Aramaic, Gulgolta). There they nailed Him to the stake (crucified Him).

(19:30) After Yeshua had taken the wine, He said: “It is accomplished!” And, letting His head droop, He delivered up His spirit. It was Preparation Day **, and the Judeans did not want the bodies to remain on the stake on Shabbat *** (High Shabbat), since it was an especially important Shabbat for that Shabbat was a 'High Day' (High Shabbat =The Feast of Unleavened Bread). So they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies removed.

(19:33) But when they got to Yeshua and saw that He was already dead, they didn't break His legs. However, one of the soldiers stabbed His side with a spear, and at once blood and water flowed out. After this, Yosef of Ramatayim, who was a disciple of Yeshua, but a secret one out of fear of the Judeans, asked Pilate if he could have Yeshua's body. Pilate gave his consent, so Yosef came and took the body away.

(19:38) Also Nakdimon, who at first had gone to see Yeshua by night, came with some seventy pounds of spices - a mixture of myrrh and aloes. They took Yeshua's body and wrapped it up in linen sheets with the spices, in keeping with Judean burial practice.

**** «Sixth hour» - in this case it is most likely that the Roman time was used.

(19:41) In the vicinity of where He had been executed was a garden, and in the garden was a new tomb in which no one had ever been

buried. So, because it was Preparation Day ** (the High Shabbat - the Feast of Unleavened Bread was about to begin) for the Judeans, and because the tomb was close by, that is where they buried Yeshua.

After the seven days of Unleavened Bread, there is a feast that celebrates the nation of Israel having crossed the Red Sea

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 48 And I stood between the Mitsrayimites and Israel, and we delivered Israel out of his hand, and out of the hand of his people, and YHWH brought them through the midst of the sea as if it were dry land. And all the peoples whom he brought to pursue after Israel, YHWH our Elohim cast them into the midst of the sea, into the depths of the abyss beneath the children of Israel, even as the people of Mitsrayim had cast their children into the river He took vengeance on 1,000,000 of them, and one thousand strong and energetic men were destroyed on account of one suckling of the children of your people which they had thrown into the river. And on the fourteenth day and on the fifteenth and on the sixteenth and on the seventeenth and on the eighteenth the prince Mastêmâ was bound and imprisoned behind the children of Israel that he might not accuse them. And on the nineteenth we let them loose that they might help the Mitsrayimites and pursue the children of Israel. And he hardened their hearts and made them stubborn, and the device was devised by YHWH our Elohim that He might smite the Mitsrayimites and cast them into the sea.

And on the fourteenth we bound him that he might not accuse the children of Israel […]

Time of joy in the memories of Abraham, which took him to the mountain and back (seven days), for Isaac sacrifice

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 18

And Abraham went to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beersheba, and Abraham dwelt by the Well of the Oath. And he celebrated this festival every year, seven days with joy, and he called it the festival of YHWH according to the seven days during which he went and returned in peace. And accordingly has it been ordained and written on the heavenly tablets regarding Israel and its seed that they should observe this festival seven days with the joy of festival.

The first sheaf in raised hands and the risen Yeshua above an open tomb

The day of the omer, when the sheaf of first fruits is brought before YHWH upon the day of entering the Promised Land (Israel)

Lev. 23:10 When you have come into the land I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before YHWH (the priest will lift it up before YHWH), that you may be accepted. On the next day after the Shabbat (weekly Shabbat) the priest shall wave it before YHWH. And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to YHWH. Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to YHWH, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin. You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your YHWH; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Prophetic significance of the Anointed One – The First born among those resurrected from the dead

Ps. 89:2o I have found My servant David; with My holy oil I have anointed him, with whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted. Also I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand over the rivers. He shall cry to Me, “You are my Father, My YHWH, and the rock of my salvation.” Also I will make him My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him. His seed also I will make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

Prov.30:4 Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, If you know?

Jonah 1:17 Now YHWH had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Then Jonah prayed to YHWH his Elohim from the fish's belly. And he said: "I cried out to the YHWH because of my affliction, and He answered me. "Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and You heard my voice. For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the floods surrounded me; all Your billows and Your waves passed over me. Then I said, 'I have been cast out of Your sight; yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.'

Mtt.12:39 But He answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Lk.11:29 And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, "This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. For as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of Man will be to this generation.

1Cor.15:20 But the fact is that the Anointed One has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have died. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in the Anointed One all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: the Anointed One the firstfruits, afterward those who are the Anointed One 's at His coming (second coming).

Col.1:18 And He is the head of the body, the Congregation, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might hold first place in everything.

Jam.1:18 Having made His decision, he gave birth to us through His Word of Truth that can be relied upon, in order that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

This is the true date of the resurrection of Yeshua

Matthew

(28:1) After Shabbat (weekly Shabbat), as the next day was dawning, Miryam of Magdala and the other Miryam went to see the grave. Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, for an angel of YHWH came down from heaven, rolled away the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were as white as snow.

(28:5) The guards were so terrified at him that they trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women: “Don't be afraid. I know you are looking for Yeshua, who was executed on the stake. He is not here, because He has been raised - just as He said! Come and look at the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell the disciples: “He has been raised from the dead, and now He is going to the Galil ahead of you.” You will see Him there. Behold, I have told you.”

(28:8) So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Yeshua met them, saying: “Rejoice!”

* After the two Shabbats, the Great Shabbat (feast of Unleavened Bread) and the weekly Shabbat (which follows one after another), Yeshua resurrected on the first day of the week. This was during the feast of the Firstfruits: Lev.23:10 «you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before YHWH, that you may be accepted. On the next day after the Shabbat (weekly Shabbat) the priest shall wave it before YHWH». Also, it was on this day that the resurrection of Yeshua, by ‘coincidence’, fell exactly on

Mark

(16:1) When Shabbat* (weekly Shabbat) was over, Miryam of Magdala, Miryam the mother of Ya`akov, and Shlomit bought spices in order to go and anoint Yeshua.

(16:9) Now when He (Yeshua) rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene.

Luke

(24:1) Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing

the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. On entering, they discovered that the body of Yeshua was gone!

(24:4) They were standing there, not knowing what to think about it, when suddenly two men in dazzlingly bright clothing stood next to them. Terror-stricken, they bowed down with their faces to the ground. The two men said to them: “Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has been raised.”

John

(20:1) Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark **, Miryam from Magdala went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.

the time of the third day and the third night, thereby fulfilling the prophecy of Jonah:

“Now YHWH had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Then Jonah prayed to YHWH his Elohim from the fish's belly. And he said: I cried out to YHWH because of my affliction, and He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and You heard my voice. For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the floods surrounded me; all Your billows and Your waves passed over me. Then I said, I have been cast out of Your sight; yet I will look again toward Your holy temple” (Jonah 1:17-2:4).

(20:17) “Stop holding onto me,” Yeshua said to her: “Because I haven't yet gone back to the Father. But go to my brothers, and tell them that I am going back to my Father and your Father, to my YHWH and your YHWH.”

The nation of Israel entering the Promised Land

Josh. 5:10 Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight on the plains of Jericho. And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, Unleavened Bread*** and parched grain, on the very same day. Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.

The day of Abraham’s test: to bring Isaac (the firstborn) as a sacrifice, which was later substituted by a ram

And I called to him from heaven, and said unto him: “Abraham, Abraham;” and he was terrified and said: “Behold, (here) am I.” And I said unto him: “Lay not your hand upon the lad, neither do you anything to him; for now I have shown that you fearest YHWH, and hast not withheld your son, your first-born son, from me.”

And the prince Mastema was put to shame; and Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold a ram caught... by his horns, and Abraham went and took the ram and offered it for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called that place “YHWH has

Esther entered Artaxerx’s palace and the king held out his scepter

Esth.5:1 Now it happened on the third day*** (this was after the three day fast, which followed the order of Aman regarding the extermination of Hebrews - Esth.3:12) that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, across from the king's house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.

Restoration of the Second Temple

2 Chron. 29:17 Now they began to sanctify on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the vestibule of YHWH. Then they sanctified the house of YHWH in eight days, and on the sixteenth day*** of the first month (Aviv) they finished. Then they went in to King Hezekiah and said, “We have cleansed all the house of YHWH, the altar of burnt offerings with all its articles, and the table of the showbread with all its articles.”

The Counting Of The Days Of The Omer Before The Feast Of Shavuot.

Counting 49 days (7 full weeks) from the day the sheaf is brought in (the Feast of Firstfruits)

Count the days of the ‘omer’ until the feast of Shavuot

Lev. 23:15 And you shall count from the day after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering (firstfruit), seven Shabbats (seven full weeks) shall they be. Count fifty days until the day after the seventh week.

Deut. 16:9 You are to count seven weeks. You are to begin counting seven weeks from the time you first put your sickle to the standing grain.

When Yeshua revealed himself during the 40 (forty) days

Act.1:3 After His death he showed Himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that He was alive. During a period of forty days they saw Him, and He spoke with them about the Kingdom of YHWH.

Act.13:31 He appeared for many days to those who had come up with Him from the Galil to Yerushalayim; and they are now His witnesses to the people.

1Cor.15:6 And afterwards He was seen by more than five hundred brothers at one time, the majority of whom are still alive, though some have died.

The time of expecting that which was promised by the Father, YHWH Elohim, in Jerusalem

Act.1:4 At one of these gatherings, He instructed them not to leave Yerushalayim but to wait for “what the Father promised, which you heard about from me. For Yochanan used to immerse people in water; but in a few days, you will be immersed in the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)!”

The day of observing the feast of “The First (summer) harvest”*

Lev. 23:21 You shall make proclamation the same day (the 50th day from the day of bringing the first sheaf - the «FirstFruits») summoning a holy assembly. You shall do no servile work that day. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Num.28:26 At the Festival of Harvest (Feast of Shavout or Pentecost), when you present the first of your new grain to YHWH, you must call an official day for holy assembly, and you may do no ordinary work on that day.

Deut. 16:9 Seven weeks shall you number unto you from the time the sickle is first put to the standing corn shall you begin to number seven weeks. And you shall keep the feast of weeks unto YHWH your Elohim after the measure of the freewill-offering of your hand, which you shall give, according as YHWH your Elohim blesseth you.

* The Feast of Shavuot is a calculated date. It never falls on the same number as some religious schools claim about it. Shavuot always falls on the first day of the week as the countdown of the 7 weeks depends on the previous holiday (Day of the First Sheaf Offering), which, according to the book of Leviticus chapter 23, always falls on the first day of the week (Sunday). The feast of Shavuot has a few different names: “The feast of Weeks” (in Hebrew שָׁבוּעַ means “week”), “Pentecost” – since it falls on the 50th day after the Seven Weeks

Ex. 23:16 Also you shall keep the Feast of Harvest - the firstfruits (feast of first harvest*) of your toil, of what you sow in the field.

Ex. 34:22 And you must remember to celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the first crop (Shavuot) of the wheat harvest, and celebrate the Festival of the Final Harvest (Sukkot) at the end of the harvest season.

Yearly observance of the Feast in the Temple

Deut.16:16 Three times a year shall all your males appear before YHWH your Elohim in the place which He chooses at the Feast of Unleavened Dread, at the FEAST OF WEEKS, and at the Feast of Tabernacles. They shall not appear before YHWH empty-handed. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YHWH your Elohim which He has given you.

(seven Shabbats), the “Feast of the first (summer) Harvest” – since the first harvest is taking place in this time. Not to be confused with the previous ‘Feast of Firstfruits’ (The Day of bringing the first sheaf’). The first sheaf is the sheaf of barley (‘Omer’) and this is actually the first fruit that the land had brought forth after the winter. However, “the feast of the Harvest” – is the first summer reaping of the harvest (in Israel there is also the fall harvest on the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles).

Ex.19:1 In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Mitsrayim, on that day (on the day of Unleavened bread, when they went out), they came to from Mitsrayim) he Wilderness of Sinai. For they had departed from Rephidim, had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So Israel camped there before the mountain. And Moses went up to YHWH, and YHWH called to him from the mountain.

Ex.19:10 Then YHWH said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.

And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day YHWH will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.”

** Moses went up and down the mountain a few times. First, YHWH called out to him so that he told the nation of Israel that they should be ready for the third day of entering into the covenant. Afterwards, on the sixteenth day, was the giving of the tablets of the Law (book of Jubilee chapter 1) and then, the rest of the commandments.

The prophetic significance of the Anointed One – as in the times of the covenant renewal. The day which YHWH renewed the covenant again with the nation of Israel, and poured out the Holy Spirit on the earth

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

Jer.31:31 Behold, the days are coming, says YHWH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah – not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says YHWH. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their YHWH, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, “Know YHWH,” for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says YHWH. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

Is.44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring.

Prov.1:23 If you will turn (repent) and give heed to my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you, I will make my words known to you.

Act.2:1 The festival of Shavu'ot arrived, and the believers all gathered together in one place. Suddenly there came a sound from the sky like the roar of a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire, which separated and came to rest on each one of them. They were all filled with the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and began to talk in different languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.

Jn.14:26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name (to represent Me and act on My behalf), he will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

Jn.15:26 But when the Helper (Comforter) comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will testify of Me.

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS HAPPENED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME

The time when YHWH Elohim entered into a covenant with Noah and establish a bow (קֶשֶׁת) as a sign of this covenant

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 6 And on the new moon of the third month he went forth from the ark, and built an altar on that mountain. And he (Noah) made atonement for the earth, and took a kid and made atonement by its blood for all the guilt of the earth […]

And YHWH smelt the goodly savour, and He made a covenant with him that there should not be any more a flood to destroy the earth […] He set His bow (קֶשֶׁת) in the cloud for a sign of the eternal covenant that there should not again be a flood on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth.

For this reason it is ordained and written on the heavenly tablets, that they should celebrate the Feast of Weeks in this month once a year, to renew the covenant every year[…]

“And do you command the children of Israel to observe this festival in all their generations for a commandment unto them: one day in the year in this month they shall celebrate the festival. For it is the Feast of Weeks and the feast of first harvest (fruits): this feast is twofold and of a double nature: according to what is written and engraven concerning it, celebrate it. For I have written in the book of the first law, in that which I have written for you, that you shouldst celebrate it in its season, one day in the year, and I explained to you its sacrifices that the children of Israel should remember and should celebrate it throughout their generations in this month, one day in every year.”

The time when YHWH entered into a covenant with Abraham

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 14 In the fourth year of this week, on the new moon of the third month, the word of YHWH came to Abram in a dream, saying: “Fear not, Abram; I am your defender, and your reward will be exceeding great”. And he said:

“ YHWH, YHWH, what wilt you give me, seeing I go hence childless, and the son of Maseq, the son of my handmaid, is the Dammasek Eliezer: he will be my heir, and to me you hast given no seed». And he said unto him: “This (man) will not be your heir, but one that will come out of yours own bowels; he will be yours heir”. And He brought him forth abroad, and said unto him: “Look toward heaven and number the stars if you art able to number them”. And he looked toward heaven, and beheld the stars. And He said unto him: “So shall your seed be”. And he believed in YHWH, and it was counted to him for righteousness […]

And he said: “YHWH, YHWH, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?” And He said unto him: “Take Me an heifer of three years, and a goat of three years, and a sheep of three years, and a turtle-dove, and a pigeon”. And he took all these in the middle of the month […]

And he awoke from his sleep, and he arose, and the sun had set; and there was a flame, and behold! A furnace was smoking, and a flame of fire passed between the pieces. And on that day YHWH made a covenant with Abram […]

And on that day we made a covenant with Abram, according as we had covenanted with Noah in this month; and Abram renewed the Festival and ordinance for himself for ever. And Abram rejoiced, and made all these things known to Sarah his wife.

The time when YHWH changed Abram’s name into Abraham. The day when Abraham got circumcised and circumcised all those who were born in his house – as a sign of the covenant

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 15 In the third month, in the middle of the month, Abram celebrated the feast of the first-fruits of the grain harvest (Shavuot). And he offered new offerings on the altar, the first-fruits of the produce, unto YHWH, an heifer and a goat and a sheep on the altar as a burnt sacrifice unto YHWH; their fruit offerings and their drink offerings he offered upon the altar with frankincense. And YHWH appeared to Abram, and said unto him: “I am YHWH Almighty; approve thyself before me and be you perfect. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly”. And Abram fell on his face, and YHWH talked with him, and said: “Behold my ordinance is with you, and you shall be the father of many nations. Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name from henceforth, even for ever, shall be Abraham. For the father of many nations have I made you. And I will make you very great, and I will make you into nations, and kings shall come forth from you. And I shall establish My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you, throughout their generations, for an eternal covenant, so that I may be a YHWH unto you, and to your seed after you. And I will give to you and to your seed after you the land where you hast been a sojourner, the

land of Canaan, that you mayst possess it for ever, and I will be their YHWH”. And YHWH said unto Abraham: “And as for you, do you keep my covenant, you and your seed after you: and circumcise ye every male among you, and circumcise your foreskins, and it shall be a token of an eternal covenant between Me and you. And the child on the eighth day ye shall circumcise, every male throughout your generations, him that is born in the house, or whom ye have bought with money from any stranger, whom ye have acquired who is not of your seed. He that is born in your house shall surely be circumcised, and those whom you hast bought with money shall be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an eternal ordinance”.

[…] And on the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and all the men of his house, (and those born in the house), and all those, whom he had bought with money from the children of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

The time when Isaac was born – the promised son of Abraham

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 16 And she (Sarah) bare a son in the third month, and in the middle of the month, at the time of which YHWH had spoken to Abraham, on the Festival of the first (fruits) of the harvest (first harvest – summer harvest), Isaac was born. And Abraham circumcised his son on the eighth day: he was the first that was circumcised according to the covenant which is ordained for ever.

The time when Judah, son of Jacob was born, from whose tribe Yeshua HaMeshiah came to be***

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 28 And again Jacob went in unto her (Leah), and she conceived, and bare him a fourth son, and he called his name Judah, on the fifteenth of the third month.

The time when Abraham blessed Jacob before his death

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 22-23

And it came to pass in the first week in the forty-fourth jubilee, in the second year, that is, the year in which Abraham died, that Isaac and Ishmael came from the Well of the Oath to celebrate the Feast of Weeks – that is, the Feast of the first fruits of the harvest – to Abraham, their father, and Abraham rejoiced because his two sons had come […]

*** It is most likely that this day is the day of Yeshua’s birth

And he called Jacob and said: “My son Jacob, may YHWH of all bless you and strengthen you to do righteousness, and His will before Him, and may He choose you and your seed that ye may become a people for His inheritance according to His will alway. And do you, my son, Jacob, draw near and kiss me”. And he drew near and kissed him […]

And the two lay together on one bed, and Jacob slept in the bosom of Abraham, his father's father and he kissed him seven times, and his affection and his heart rejoiced over him. And he blessed him with all his heart […]

And he placed two fingers of Jacob on his eyes, and he blessed YHWH, and he covered his face and stretched out his feet and slept the sleep of eternity, and was gathered to his fathers. And notwithstanding all this Jacob was lying in his bosom, and knew not that Abraham, his father's father, was dead. And Jacob awoke from his sleep, and behold Abraham was cold as ice, and he said “Father, father”; but there was none that spake, and he knew that he was dead. And he arose from his bosom and ran and told Rebecca, his mother.

Heavenly trumpets and a rider among the clouds

The Great (High) Shabbat. The day of the Trumpet’s sound

Lev.23:24 On the first day of the seventh month*, you shall observe a day of solemn (sabbatical) rest (Great or High Shabbat), a memorial day announced by blowing of trumpets, a holy (called) assembly. You shall do no servile work on it, but you shall present an offering made by fire to YHWH.

Num.29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a day of blowing the trumpets. This is your Day-of-Trumpet-Blasts.

The prophetic significance of the Anointed One (Yeshua) at the time of his Second coming

Zech.9.14 And YHWH shall be seen over them and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning, and YHWH Elohim will blow the trumpet and will go forth in the windstorms of the south.

* The feast of Trumpets falls on the first day of the month Tishrei (ירשת - in Hebrew), during the new moon (when the moon is not visible). This hour when no one knows where the moon is located in the darkness is called ‘the day and hour which no one knows of ’. Days when the moon is not visible are considered to be the days of the new moon which usually last 1 to 3 days (Am.8:5; 1Sam.20:34; 1Sam.20:18-19). Various religious movements name this day as the “head of the year” (Rosh Hashanah) and many consider is to be a “New year”... However, this is not confirmed in the Law of YHWH.  The first month of the year has always been Aviv (Nisan) - the new moon of the month (Ex.12:2). The count is begun from the beginning of the month of Aviv (Nisan), as it is the first month of the year. From here, one year is counted to the next Aviv (Nisan), then seven years is numbered to reach the Sabbatical year, and after seven Sabbatical years is the Jubilee year.

Is.27:12 And it shall come to pass in that day

that YHWH will thresh, from the channel of the River to the Brook of Mitsrayim; and you will be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel. So it shall be in that day: the great trumpet will be blown; they will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria, and they who are outcasts in the land of Mitsrayim, and shall worship YHWH in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Is.26:19 Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Jn.5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Mtt.24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with tremendous power and glory. He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet (shofar) and they will gather together his chosen people from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1Cor.15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Thess.4:16 When we say this, we base it on YHWH's own word: we who remain alive when YHWH comes will certainly not take precedence over those who have died. For YHWH Himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with YHWH 's shofar; those who died united with the Anointed One will be the first to rise; then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet YHWH in the air; and thus we will always be with YHWH. So encourage each other with these words.

Rev.8:6 Then the seven angels with the seven trumpets (shofars) prepared to blow their mighty blasts.

New moon* – “the day which no one knows apart from the Father”

Zech.14:4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, for the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the YHWH my Elohim will come, and all the saints with You. It shall come to pass in that day that there will be no light. The lights will diminish. It shall be one day which is known to the YHWH – neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen that it will be light. And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea. In both summer and winter it shall occur. And the YHWH shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be – «YHWH is one,» and His name will be the only name.

Mtt.24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet (shofar), and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mtt.24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your His is coming.

Mk.13:32 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Lk.21:21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For those will be days of YHWH's vengeance, and the prophetic words of Scripture will be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

1Thess.5:2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of YHWH so comes as a thief in the night (for «those who are drunk, get drunk at night»: verse 5).

2Pet.3:10 But the day of YHWH will come as a thief in the night (for «scoffers walking according to their own lusts»: verse 3), in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Rev.1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall gaze upon Him and beat their breasts and mourn and lament over Him. Even so [must it be]. Amen.

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 12 And in the sixth week, in the fifth year thereof Abram sat up throughout the night on the new moon of the seventh month to observe the stars from the evening to the morning, in order to see what would be the character of the year with regard to the rains, and he was alone as he sat and observed […] And he made an end of speaking and praying, and behold the word of YHWH was sent to him through me, saying: «Get you up from your country, and from your kindred and from the house of your father unto a land which I will show you, and I shall make you a great and numerous nation. And I will bless you and I will make your name great, and you shall be blessed in the earth, and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed, and I will bless them that bless you, and curse them that curse you. A sacrificial animal, the scapegoat, and an image of judgment over a city

The day of cleansing from all sin

Lev.16:8 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for YHWH and the other lot for the scapegoat* (for 'Az'azel).

Lev.16:20 When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the tent of meeting and the altar, he is to present the live goat. Aharon is to lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the transgressions, crimes and sins of the people of Isra'el; he is to put them on the head of the goat and then send it away into the desert with a man appointed for the purpose.

* The original text speaks of (עֲזָאזֵל aza'zel). Azazel is a commander of demon powers and king of the fallen angels. The book of Enoch says that at the time of the angels’ fall when they came unto the daughters of men, Azazel was sowing animosity amongst the people and teaching them about magic and building weaponry: “Moreover Azazyel taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered. Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways” (The book of Enoch chapter 8). It also says: “you seest what Azazel has done, who has taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven, which men were striving to learn” (Enoch chapter 9). YHWH punished him heavily and commanded Raphael “… Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness:… And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire…” (Enoch chapter 10). Therefore, the goat for which the lots “for Azazel” were cast

The time of affliction and brokenness regarding sins that were committed unintentionally or by mistake

Lev.23:27 Also the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy (called) assembly, and you shall afflict** yourselves and present an offering made by fire to YHWH.

Time of the Great (High) Shabbat

Lev.23:28 And you shall do no work on this day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before YHWH your Elohim.

Lev.23:31 You shall do no kind of work (on that day). It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

symbolized the devil himself - the cause and the source of sin. An interesting fact: during the time of the First Temple, when the Arc of the Covenant was positioned in Holy of Holies, the presence of Elohim was tangible and it was expressed though constant miracles which took place in the Temple. One of them was related to the goat which was cast out into the desert. A piece of red wool (strip) was tied to the goat’s horns, and when this animal was being brought out of the gates of the Temple yard, one of the priests tore it into two pieces: he hung one piece under the gates of the Temple and the other half he tied to the goat’s horns. After this, when the goat was sent away ‘with a man appointed for the purpose’, the piece of red wool (red strip), which was hung under the gates, would become white, according to what was written in Isaiah 1:18: «…Come now, and let us reason together, says YHWH. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool».

Num.29:7 On the tenth day (evening of the ninth = tenth day) of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall afflict your souls. You shall not do any work.

Lev.16:29 This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you. For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before YHWH. It is a Shabbat of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever.

There is a testimony (from Josephus Flavius and Philon Alexandreos) that in 30 A. D., when Yeshua was crucified, the strip of red wool no longer changed color throughout the last 40 years the temple was in existence, before it's destruction in 70 A.D. During these 40 years, YHWH Elohim was showing everyone that He was no longer accepting the Temple sacrifice.

** «Afflict», this word in Hebrew means «to give counsel», «to witness». In Judaism it is called (Yom Kippur) which is associated with fasting and this does not contradict the Law of YHWH. However, YHWH did not command us to fast on this day so this is everyone’s personal decision. Hebrew word צוֹם «tsoom» which means «to fast» is not mentioned in this verse even though it is mentioned in many other places in the Tanakh.

Prophetic significance of the Anointed One*** - Expected day of Judgment and the cleansing of the land

Ps.50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, YHWH will shine forth. Our YHWH shall come, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people: «Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice». Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for YHWH Himself is Judge. «Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am YHWH, your Elohim!»

Is.13:9 Behold, the day of YHWH is coming! Fierce, with wrath and raging anger--to make the land and the whole earth a desolation and to destroy out of it its sinners. For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened at its rising and the moon will not shed its light. And I, YHWH, will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their guilt and iniquity. I will cause the arrogance

*** Yeshua came the first time - as a Lamb of YHWH that was slain,

‘as a guilt offering’ (Is.53:10) and as the One Who took the punishment for the sins of the world (Is.53:11; Zech.3:9) and who will come the second time as the King and Judge (Zech.14:4-7; Is.66:15-18).

Yeshua spoke about, and confirmed, everything that was written in the Law of YHWH and by the Prophets. He fulfilled the prophecies regarding his first coming in the role of Redeemer. He will also fulfill the prophecy about his second coming in the role of Judge.

of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible and the boasting of the violent and ruthless. I will make a man more rare than fine gold, and mankind scarcer than the pure gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth shall be shaken out of its place at the wrath of YHWH of hosts (Tzva'ot ) in the day of His fierce anger.

Is.25:6 On this mountain YHWH Tzva'ot will make for all peoples a feast of rich food and superb wines, delicious, rich food and superb, elegant wines. On this mountain he will destroy the veil which covers the face of all peoples, the veil enshrouding all the nations. He will swallow up death forever. YHWH Elohim will wipe away the tears from every face, and he will remove from all the earth the disgrace his people suffer. For YHWH has spoken. On that day they will say, «See! This is our YHWH! We waited for him to save us. This is YHWH; we put our hope in him. We are full of joy, and glad in his salvation!»

Is.34:1 Come close, you nations, and listen! Pay close attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and everything in it; the world, with all it produces. For YHWH is angry at every nation, furious with all their armies; he has completely destroyed them, handed them over to slaughter. Their slain will be thrown out, the stench will rise from their corpses, the mountains will flow with their blood […] «For my sword has drunk its fill in heaven; now it descends on Edom to judge them, the people I have doomed to destruction». There is a sword that belongs to YHWH […]

For YHWH has a day of vengeance, a year of requital for fighting with Tziyon. Its streams will be changed to tar, its dust to sulfur, its land burning tar that will not be quenched night or day; its smoke will rise forever. In all generations it will lie waste; no one will pass through it ever again.

Is. 66:15 For behold, YHWH will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword YHWH will judge all flesh. And the slain of YHWH shall be many. “Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, To go to the gardens After an idol in the midst, eating swine's meat and the abomination and the mouse (obscene meal of pigs/swine and mice), shall be consumed together,” says הוה! For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.

Act.17:30 In the past, YHWH overlooked such ignorance; but now he is commanding all people everywhere to turn to him from their sins. For he has set a Day when he will judge the inhabited world, and do it justly, by means of a man whom he has designated. And he has given public proof of it by resurrecting this man from the dead.

Lk.3:15 The people were in a state of great expectancy, and everyone was wondering whether perhaps Yochanan (John) himself might be the Anointed One; so Yochanan answered them all, “I am immersing you in water, but He who is coming is more powerful than I - I'm not worthy to untie His sandals! He will immerse you in the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and in fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Rev.6:12 Then I watched as he broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, the sun turned black as sackcloth worn in mourning, and the full moon became blood-red. The stars fell from heaven to earth just as a fig tree drops its figs when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. Then the earth's kings, the rulers, the generals, the rich and the mighty-indeed, everyone, slave and free, hid himself in caves and among the rocks in the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, «Fall on us, and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne and from the fury of the Lamb! For the Great Day of their fury has come, and who can stand?»

Rev.11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, «The Kingdom of this world has become the kingdoms of our YHWH and of His the Anointed One, and He shall reign forever and ever!» And the twenty-four elders who sat before YHWH on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped YHWH, saying: «We give You thanks, O YHWH Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth». Then the Temple of YHWH was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Rev.14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth – to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people – saying with a loud voice, "Fear YHWH and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."

Rev.19:11 Next I saw heaven opened, and there before me was a white horse. Sitting on it was the one called Faithful and True, and it is in righteousness that He passes judgment and goes to battle. His eyes were like a fiery flame, and on His head were many royal crowns. And He had a name written which no one knew but Himself. He was wearing a robe that had been soaked in blood, and the name by which He is called is, «the Word of YHWH». The armies of heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and pure, were following Him on white horses. And out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down nations – «He will rule them with a staff of iron». It is He who treads the winepress from which flows the wine of the furious rage of YHWH, Elohim of heaven's armies. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: «King of kings and Master of masters».

Rev.19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great YHWH, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great." And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Prophetic significance of the Anointed One - eternal redemption

Hebr.9:11 But when the Anointed One appeared as cohen gadol (High Priest) of the good things that are happening already, then, through the greater and more perfect Tent which is not man-made (that is, it is not of this created world), He entered the Holiest Place once and for all. And He entered not by means of the blood of goats and calves, but by means of His own blood, thus setting people free forever****. For if sprinkling ceremonially unclean persons with the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer restores their outward purity; then how much more the blood of the Anointed One, who, through the eternal Spirit, offered himself to YHWH as a sacrifice without blemish, will purify our conscience from works that lead to death, so that we can serve the living YHWH.

**** In this present time, The Temple does not exist – therefore, there is no need for speculation regarding the practicing of sacrifices today. According to the Law of YHWH, in order for the sacrifice to be acceptable, it has to take place at the Temple (or Tabernacle) “in a place chosen by Elohim”: Lev. 17:2 Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, “This is the thing which YHWH has commanded, saying: Whatever man of the house of Israel who kills an ox or lamb or goat in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp, and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting to offer an offering to YHWH before the tabernacle of YHWH, the guilt of bloodshed shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people”.

The day of selling Joseph into slavery and announcing the news about his ‘death’ to Jacob

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 34 And in the seventh year of this week he sent Joseph to learn about the welfare of his brothers from his house to the land of Shechem, and he found them in the land of Dothan. And they dealt treacherously with him, and formed a plot against him to slay him, but changing their minds, they sold him to Ishmaelite merchants, and they brought him down into Mitsrayim, and they sold him to Potiphar, the eunuch of Pharaoh, the chief of the cooks, priest of the city of 'Elew. And the sons of Jacob slaughtered a kid, and dipped the coat of Joseph in the blood, and sent it to Jacob their father on the tenth of the seventh month. And he mourned all that night, for they had brought it to him in the evening, and he became feverish with mourning for his death, and he said: «An evil beast has devoured Joseph».

Lev. 17:8 «Also you shall say to them: «Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice, and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer it to YHWH, that man shall be cut off from among his people». Therefore, any sacrifices today that takes place in different places outside of the Temple, are an abomination and against the commandments of the Law of YHWH. This stands as another testimony that Yeshua is the only one who can replace the Temple sacrifices, and He is the only provision for the forgiveness of sins.

And all the members of his house (mourned with him that day, and they) were grieving and mourning with him all that day. And his sons and his daughter rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted for his son. And on that day Bilhah heard that Joseph had perished, and she died mourning him, and she was living in Qafratef, and Dinah also, his daughter, died after Joseph had perished. And there came these three mournings upon Israel in one month. And they buried Bilhah over against the tomb of Rachel, and Dinah also, his daughter, they buried there. And he mourned for Joseph one year, and did not cease, for he said: «Let me go down to the grave mourning for my son». For this reason it is ordained for the children of Israel that they should afflict themselves on the tenth of the seventh month – on the day that the news which made him weep for Joseph came to Jacob his father – that they should make atonement for themselves thereon with a young goat on the tenth of the seventh month, once a year, for their sins; for they had grieved the affection of their father regarding Joseph his son. And this day has been ordained that they should grieve thereon for their sins, and for all their transgressions and for all their errors, so that they might cleanse themselves on that day once a year.

The days of observing the feast of the second harvest

Lev.23:34 The fifteenth day of this seventh month, and for seven days, is the Feast of Tabernacles to YHWH.

Lev.23:39 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of YHWH for seven days.

Lev.23:40 And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm-trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook, and ye shall rejoice before YHWH your Elohim seven days.

Lev.23:41 You shall keep it as a feast to YHWH for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month. You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim: I am YHWH your Elohim.

Ex. 34:22 And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering (Sukkot)at the year's end*.

* The ‘year’s end’ is the last harvest of the year. The month of Tishrei is the seventh month of the year and the end of the harvesting year.

The Great (High) Shabbat, first and eighth day

Num.29:12 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy (summoned) assembly. You shall do no servile work, and you shall keep a feast to YHWH for seven days.

Lev.23:35 On the first day shall be a holy convocation. Do not do any kind of ordinary work.

Lev.23:39 The first day is a complete rest (Great or High Shabbat) and the eighth day is a complete rest (Great or High Shabbat).

Num.29:35 On the eighth day you are to have a festive assembly: you are not to do any kind of ordinary work.

Prophetic significance of the Anointed One – of His Millennial Kingdom

Amos 9:13 Behold, the days are coming, says YHWH, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring back the exiles of My people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be torn up out of their land which I gave them, says YHWH your Elohim.

Dan.7:13 I kept watching the night visions, when I saw, coming with the clouds of heaven, someone like a son of man. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence. To Him was given rulership, glory and a Kingdom, so that all peoples, nations and languages should serve Him. His rulership is an eternal rulership that will not pass away; and His Kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Zech.14:8 And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea; in both

summer and winter it shall occur. And YHWH shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be – « YHWH is one», and His name one.

Zech.14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, YHWH of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso of the families of the earth goes not up unto Jerusalem to worship the King, YHWH of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain. And if the family of Mitsrayim go not up, and come not, they shall have no overflow; there shall be the plague, wherewith YHWH will smite the nations that go not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Mitsrayim, and the punishment of all the nations that go not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Micah 4:1 But in the end of days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of YHWH 's house shall be established as the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it. And many nations shall go and say: «Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, and to the house of YHWH of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths». For out of Zion shall go forth the Law of YHWH, and the word of YHWH from Jerusalem. And He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide concerning mighty nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall

not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of YHWH of hosts (Tzva'ot) has spoken.

Is.65:17 For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth. And the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a rejoicing and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; and the sound of weeping will no more be heard in it, nor the cry of distress. There shall no more be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who dies prematurely; for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner who dies when only a hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat the fruit. For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My chosen and elect shall long make use of and enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain or bring forth children for sudden terror or calamity; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of YHWH, and their offspring with them. And it shall be that before they call I will answer; and while they are yet speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed

together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They

shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy Mount Zion, says YHWH.

Dan.12:2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, and others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

Rev.20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Yeshua and for the word of YHWH, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with the Anointed One for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of the Anointed One, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS HAPPENED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME

The Ark rested on the mountains of Ararat

Gen.8:4 Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.

The angels announced to Sarah and Abraham that she is pregnant with the promised son

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 16 And we returned in the seventh month, and found Sarah with child before us and we blessed him (Abraham), and we announced to him all the things which had been decreed concerning him, that he should not die till he should beget six sons more, and should see them before he died; but that in Isaac should his name and seed be called […]

And we went our way, and we announced to Sarah all that we had told him, and they both rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And he built there an altar to YHWH who had delivered him, and who was making him rejoice in the land of his sojourning, and he celebrated a festival of joy in this month seven days, near the altar which he had built at the Well of the Oath. And he built booths for himself and for his servants on this festival, and he was the first to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles on the earth. And during these seven days he brought each day to the altar a burnt offering to YHWH […]

And he celebrated this Feast during seven days, rejoicing with all his heart and with all his soul, he and all those who were in his house, and there was no stranger with him, nor any that was uncircumcised. And he blessed his Creator who had created him in his generation, for He had created him according to His good pleasure; for He knew and perceived that from him would arise the plant of righteousness for the eternal generations, and from him a holy seed, so that it should become like Him who had made all things. And he blessed and rejoiced, and he called the name of this festival the Festival of YHWH, a joy acceptable to the Most High Elohim. And we blessed him forever and all his seed after him throughout all the generations of the earth, because he celebrated this festival in its season, according to the testimony of the heavenly tablets. For this reason it is ordained on the heavenly tablets concerning Israel, that they shall celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles seven days with joy, in the seventh month, acceptable before YHWH – a statute for ever throughout their generations every year. And to this there is no limit of days; for it is ordained for ever regarding Israel that they should celebrate it and dwell in booths, and set wreaths upon their heads, and take leafy boughs, and willows from the brook. And Abraham took branches of palm trees, and the fruit of goodly trees, and every day going round the altar with the branches seven times a day in the morning, he praised and gave thanks to his YHWH for all things in joy.

Jacob gave the tithe in Bethel, brought the sacrifice to YHWH Elohim, and acquired the name ‘Israel’ upon the completion of this Feast

The Book of Jubilees Chapter 31-32 And he (Jacob) went up on the new moon of the seventh month to Bethel. And he built an altar at the place where he had slept […]

And he abode that night at Bethel, and Levi dreamed that they had ordained and made him the priest of the Most High Elohim, him and his sons for ever; and he awoke from his sleep and blessed YHWH. And Jacob rose early in the morning, on the fourteenth of this month (7th month), and he gave a tithe of all that came with him, both of men and cattle, both of gold and every vessel and garment, yea, he gave tithes of all […]

Thus he tithed again the tithe to YHWH and sanctified it, and it became holy unto Him. And for this reason it is ordained on the heavenly tablets as a law for the tithing again the tithe to eat before YHWH from year to year, in the place where it is chosen that His name should dwell, and to this law there is no limit of days for ever […]

And on the following night, on the twenty-second day of this month, Jacob resolved to build that place, and to surround the court with a wall, and to sanctify it and make it holy for ever, for himself and his children after him. And YHWH appeared to him by night and blessed him and said unto him: «your name shall not be called Jacob, but Israel shall they name your name».

The day when the First Temple was assembled by Solomon

1 King. 8:2 All the men of Israel assembled themselves before King Solomon at the Feast in the seventh month, Ethanim (Tishrei).

2Chron.5:1 Thus all the work that Solomon did for the House of YHWH (Temple) was finished. He brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated, and the silver, the gold, and all the vessels he put in the treasuries of the House of YHWH. Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefs of the fathers' houses of the Israelites, to Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the covenant of YHWH out of the City of David, which is Zion. All the men of Israel gathered to the king at the feast in the seventh month.

1 King. 8:65 So Solomon held the Feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entrance Hamath unto the Brook of Mitsrayim, before YHWH our Elohim, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days. On the eighth day he sent the people away, and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that YHWH had shown unto David His servant, and to Israel His people.

2Chron.7:8-10 So Solomon held the Feast at that time seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entrance of Hamath unto the Brook of Mitsrayim. And on the eighth day they held a solemn assembly; for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the Feast seven days. And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away unto their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that YHWH had shown unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel His people.

«And you shall not walk in the statutes (customs, regulations) of the nation which I am casting out before you. For they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them».

Leviticus 20:23

We often do not give a second thought to what we are actually celebrating and whether it has any relation to YHWH of Israel that we belong to. As a matter of fact, many things that we observe now relate back to the pagan statutes of our ancestors… and behind their traditions are spiritual things to which we open our souls. They, at first glance, can be very "attractive" and "harmless" and even "interesting", for example, tree with garlands, tattoo, yoga class, or the study of "hidden knowledge". But all of this is the fruit of the tree "of knowledge of good and evil", from which we are not told to eat. They have descended from fallen angels and do not glorify YHWH of Israel. Some of these rituals actually constitute the worship of Lucifer in a transformed way or through taking different forms. Below is the list of feasts that are most common and wide-spread nowadays:

  1. Feast Saturnalia disguised by the name Christmas (celebrated on December 25th according to the Gregorian Calendar and on January 7th according to the Julian Calendar) in which a major part of the world is usually involved. This feast celebrates the birthday of the god of sun, known by names of Mirtha, Tammuz, Baal-Berith, Ra, Gor, Zeus, etc, and an evergreen hewn tree acts as its symbol... Yeshua was not actually born on ‘Christmas’.

  2. The Festival of the goddess of fertility ‘Easter’, disguised as a Pascha (Passover) – the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox, the day of honouring the goddess of fertility Ishtar (Astarta/Easter). The symbols of this feast are painted eggs, Easter cakes, bunnies (symbols of reproduction) and lily flowers (symbol of fertility and female beginnings). Yeshua was not crucified on a ‘Good Friday’.

  3. ‘Easter Sunday’, the day of worshipping Sun (Sunday) disguised as the day of the resurrection of ‘Yeshua the Anointed One’. The truth is that this day represents the day of resurrection of Tammuz, the son of Nimrod (Babylonian god of Sun). Yeshua did not resurrect on an ‘Easter Sunday’.

  4. The Festival of Lupercalia, the 14th of February, disguised as “St. Valentine’s day”, has its roots in an Ancient Roman pagan festival which relates to ‘shepherd’s cult’, the celebration of the Ancient Greek deity named Pan. This festival used to take place every year from the 13th to the 15th of February in grotto of Lupercal at the foot of the Palatine hill. It was celebrated in honour of the she-wolf Lupa who suckled the infant-orphans Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. As the ancient historian Plutarch described it in the Life of Caesar: ‘At this time many of the noble youths and of the magistrates run up and down through the city naked, for sport and laughter striking those they meet with shaggy thongs. And many women of rank also purposely get in their way, and like children at school present their hands to be struck, believing that the pregnant will thus be helped in delivery, and the barren to pregnancy’. In 496 Pope Gelasius replaced this festival with celebrating “St. Valentine’s day”.

  5. The Festival Hilaria (Hilaria Matris Deûm): Greek Cybele - Attis cult and Mitsrayimite Isis - Osiris cult disguised as Mother’s Day and celebrated on the second Sunday of May is the cult of the Great Mother of gods Cybele which gave birth to all that is alive – gods, humans, animals and plants. Cybele acts as a personification of female beginning in nature. Universal maternity of goddess is her foundation. Officially established in Rome in II century B. C. this cult of Cybele became one of the main competitors to the Christian way of life during the latter days of the Roman Empire.
